How to Challenge Answer Key
NTA allows candidates to challenge the provisional answer key by paying ₹200 per question. If your challenge is accepted, the fee is refunded.
Review Provisional Key
Compare your answers carefully with the provisional answer key
Submit Challenge Online
Login to your account and submit the challenge with supporting reference
Pay Challenge Fee
₹200 per question challenged (refunded if accepted)
Wait for Final Key
NTA reviews all challenges and releases the final answer key
Score Estimation
Use this formula to estimate your JEE Main 2026 score:
- Estimated Score = (Correct × 4) - (Incorrect × 1)
- Compare with previous year cutoffs to gauge your rank
